Hi, I’m Jo, and I eat. But I’m no one trick pony. I’m also an avid cook, recipe developer, food photographer, and writer. And if I’m already doing some next-level bragging, I’ll quickly add that I’m married to the literal BEST guy (Eddie) and have two incredibly sweet if annoyingly misbehaved cats (Boozle and Mr. G). We all live in the suburbs of Philadelphia where we watch a lot of crime procedurals, eat a lot of cheese, and fight our neighbors constantly for the washer and dryer. Oh, also I run this here food blog.
Jo Eats started as a new year’s resolution (I know…so cliché), that combined my love of cooking with my love of writing. As it grew, I learned so much about recipe development, food photography, and most of all YOU. You, dear reader, are maybe not why I started this venture in the first place, but you are definitely what keeps it going and makes it fun! I love hearing from you, what you’re interested in making, your cooking wins, and even your recipe fails (we’ve ALL got em). I hope you enjoy some little part of this corner of the internet – be it a recipe, an awkward childhood story, or my constant rants about the weather. I work from home and my cats are devastatingly bad at water cooler gossip, so please, say hi ANYTIME.
